or You can also just slowly pull down and cut just as in B.

Honestly - A. Think of all the tiny cramped toilets you've been in - it's so easy to brush past the roll as you leave in position B and leave it rolling till it all goes on the floor. So A is better. The rest of you just remember being a baby and finding it easier to reach B. YOU ARE BIG BOYS AND GIRLS NOW!!!!!! B is ok for little kids - the ones who also happen to fall in.

Notice how all of the mouthbreathing B fans failed to give any decent reason for their preference.

B. When its in A it is difficult to pull it out and it always tears halfway, making you end up using much more than you intended. Also when its A it sometimes sticks to the wall..

I would say B, but I do know that its easier to bump into the roll and lose some TP, esp. when coming out of the shower and the floor was wet in the B position.

So... B is best..... BUT!

A is great if you have cats around that like to pull it down and on the floor. With A, you see, they pull, but it ravels up. With B, they pull, and it goes everywhere. So A for playful cat owners for sure.

B for the rest of us.

A is the "proper" way to pull the paper from the roll. Why? lets say that you well defecate and its messy and the paper rips and the you need a second piece. Most people can "cup" the roll with their hand and pull off another piece while holing down on the top of the roll.

This will Soil the top of the roll and if the phone rings and the kids are fighting and the pot is overflowing on the stove more than likely the top piece of the roll will be soiled for the next user. How pleasent is that?

Also, with the A upon using an upward thrust the paper will tear easily against the resistance of a FULL roll. You of course have a full roll on when company is invited over. The weight of this allows the tp to be torn easily with minimal waist.

So for all intensive purposes it is A. For modern society that does not change its rolls like in 5 star hotels it is B so that they can put the fancy triangle into the roll to make it look nice.
